This is from an old survey I did about relationships over time, and I also measured people's reported polyamory. 1 is 'very monogamous' and 7 is 'very polyamorous'. The metrics you see are averaged scores based on a few different related questions (e.g., "quality" was averaged from how much people agreed with questions like "I'm satisfied in my relationship" and "this relationship was a good idea"). "Excitement' asked about stuff like butterflies and passion. "Insecurity" asked about stuff like jealousy and possessiveness "Stability" asked about how stuff like how confident you feel that the relationship will continue "Quality" asked about people's satisfaction in the relationship "Reliance" asked about how much people needed the relationship (e.g., "if we broke up I would be absolutely devastated") Please keep in mind the Y axis is warped, so the effects you're seeing are weaker than they appear. I generated these charts a while ago when I didn't know how to adjust the Y axis. :) Sample size was very high. I forget exactly how high but I think over 2k. The lowest point here ('very polyamorous') had I think around 70 respondents.
