Taking pics can be mentally, physically emotionally challenging, especially if you're like meeee and sometimes don't listen to yourself to take breaks / have really high standards / can be perfectionistic at times
I'm workin on all those things because I want to be able to continue making content for a long time. Have it be enjoyable, feel good in my body. Because why not!
There is this vocal coach youtube channel I watch, his name is Sam Johnson. And he blew my mind with something he brings up a lot... something can feel EASY and still be valuable and enjoyable to others. Part of me for a while thought i had to put in 110% effort and try super hard for it to be... noticed? Good enough? Like if I wasn't doing a difficult pose or going all out or flexing or really putting in that effort, what I made wouldn't be valued.
And i'm really trying to switch up that mindset because it's so not true! Think about it... someone in their element, or just chill, let's say singing, dancing, doing yoga... They can just be feeling GOOD and enjoying themselves, not pushing. And that can be valuable to those around them.
You don't have to burn yourself out, give your absolute all or push to the max to have what you share or create be valuable or helpful.
So i try to remind myself of this. Also remind myself to take breaks. It's okay to be imperfect, great even.
So idk just sharing some insights of things I'm workin on, in case you're curious, or maybe it might help you too.
