Talking about quality vs quantity… which leads to better results for content creators? A story about testing this theory with people assigned to create pottery. Group A was told to focus on quality, Group B was focused on quantity. Let's say for a few hours each day for a week, each group was workin on the pottery. Which group produced better Results? According to the story, it was the QUANTITY group. And this makes sense to me! Why?
If you keep creating, you learn as you go. You learn through repetition and practice. So, by just making a lot of stuff, eventually due to experience, practice and sometimes luck, you'll hit on something.
I think this can be a useful lens or lesson to look at any sort of creative work endeavor. It doesn't have to be perfect, you will learn as you go. You can't control all variables. Just put stuff out there 💗 and be kind to yourself
