It’s been really wonderful reliving these memories with you all this month. You all have shown me tremendous support and it fills my heart 🤍 Backstory: my friend and I reached the Buttermilk’s (a popular climbing spot) near Bishop, CA right before sunset. It was our first camp spot of our late autumn/winter road trip, and because of the time of year, we decided to car-camp instead of setting up the tent. We cooked our first camp-stove dinner of the trip, shared a bottle of red wine, and snapped a few photos of an incredible sunset before retiring to the car for the evening. The wind was howling, shaking the car for the first several hours as we wondered how we’d ever sleep. But, somehow we did, and awoke with the sun for an early morning shoot. Our schedules quickly adjusted to the sun, and I actually miss being in its natural rhythm. This set was taken at our camp spot, on public land, surrounded by the beautiful buttermilk boulders and mountains as our backdrop.
